MEMBERSHIP SERVICES ASSOCIATE

Reports to: Director of Patient Account Services

Position Duties:

The Membership Services Associate processes ambulance service membership applications received daily and acts as the client call center for membership inquiries.

The employee in this position performs data entry necessary to process membership applications. In addition, this employee has responsibility for processing checks and credit cards and maintaining vendor files for MedServ Patient Accounts. The employee will field all incoming membership related telephone calls, maintain daily balance logs and create monthly vendor reports related to membership activity. The employee will represent the organization and each client in a professional and knowledgeable manner in all forms of written and verbal communication.

Job Skills:

  • Database management and data entry skills required.
  • Experience in high volume incoming call management.
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills required.
  • Fund raising experience is a plus.
  • EMS and/or healthcare related business office experience preferred
